Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with this item. The box looks like it had been opened previously and there’s two marks that could be dents. They are not in an area that would be very visible. Wow what a difference! This range hood replaced one we had that seemed like it was from the 1990s. We got the 36 inch wide and it fit our under cabinet space perfectly. It took up less space under our cabinet and was higher than our other range hood so less risk of bumping our heads! The shape is really sleek. This is SO, SO nice! Pulls steam from the gas range really well, has three settings for power depending on your needs. So far so good. The installation was tough as the template supplied for the alignment of the screw holes on the back didn't really work. We had to modify the holes on the back. This was a great upgrade from my old extremely outdated vented range. It was on back order so I had to wait 3 weeks before it arrived. Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine.
