We love our frameless shower panel. We bought one wide enough to keep the water from spraying out. Our handyman who helped installed it had never installed one and was skeptical. We needed his tool because we were drilling into very thick large wall tiles. Wayfair delivered the glass to the bathroom and it was well packed so we did not worry about breakage. My husband lined up placement of the pins which the handiman drilled in. The two of them placed and secured it. kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Luxury shower surrounds at an affordable price for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight and easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility with the other substrates might need testing. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel and applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” thick continuous silicone bead around the panel about ½” from the edge to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

I’ve gotten prices from $1200-$1400 to replace the door after we remodeled the shower. Price of this door was really great. I have to tell you the instructions are just a little bit sketchy, but you can figure them out. The quality of the door and its hardware is really great. We have just installed new porcelain tiles in the shower. Had we had just about any other material it would’ve been pretty easy.
