It’s a cute table! The expansion is really easy and the color is just as it looks in photos when in natural light (my photos are under artificial light though). Its a nice piece of furniture, but be careful of the color. When I saw vintage white , I knew that it would be rustic and not pure white, but this is well beyond that. Its creamy on the yellow side. Ive been in the paint business for 40 years and it is stretching it to even call it an off-white. See the attached picture. I ended up dry brushing some white over it so that it better matched my existing furniture. You can see the before and after. Once again, happy with the furniture, just factor in the color.. Darren. The table was well packaged & arrived without any damage to the box. That said, there are two spots where the wood is chipped but not visible since under the table. The table top has a hairline crack about 6" long. One of the table legs is wobbly due to the hole for the screw was not drilled properly. Great little table, super easy to assemble, the only issue I had with that was that the screws that go in closest to the table top are very hard to tighten with the Allen wrench tool because it’s hard to read and too close to the top and not enough clearance to be able to turn the toolscrews. I ordered this wood table to replace an old round table I bought as a set with 6 chairs. My old set came with 6 chairs but you couldn’t use all of them because the table was too small and it had the traditional 4 table legs that prevented chairs to go under the table. I have been looking for one that was an oval shape and big enough for 6 chairs. I also wanted just a table and not a set. The chairs from my old set are still in great condition. I just didn’t like the table itself. This one has a hidden leaf that when used makes the table big enough for 6 chairs. The chairs from my old set fit perfect and the dark wood pattern matches great. I like that it has a pedestal type leg instead of 4 individual ones. This allows all the chairs to push in under table when not in use. It is very sturdy when assembled.
