This may or may not matter to you, of course. I re-checked the description and this is not mentioned as it usually is on other pillows. These beautiful cotton pillows use hand woven fabrics imported from the Chiang Mai region of northern Thailand. In the north of Thailand there are many hill tribes such as Hmong, Akha, Ya ,and Karen that are weaving these vintage traditional fabrics (Pillow Insert NOT included). Due to the handmade nature of these fabrics there can be minor imperfections and the actual color may vary slightly from the color displayed on the screen. Perfect for a bedroom, couch or office to mellow out another texture or patterned room accent.

This pillow cover is very nice quality with a heavy canvas-like backing and some beautiful stripe/dot accents. I purchased a pillow insert one size larger, so that it would be nice and firm for a lumber pillow. We purchased in unlaquered brass and it is stunning. Only problem is it’s missing the two screws to make it functional. Because of the price point this is not only disappointing but now the plumber doesn’t want to use a generic screw for fear it will cause future problems. Rendering it useless. Made by a group of elderly women who live at the border of Burma and Thailand, the table lamp is a lovely oversized white lamp shaped like an artichoke. Each leaf, or bract as they are called with the real plant, is made of ceramic and affixed by hand, shaping a painstaking process in order to mimic the lamp's edible namesake. The body of the is then finished in a soft antique white.
