Ok so ordered this based on reviews and size. It arrived, I opened it and was very pleased with it. Seemed very good quality. Didn't pay much attention to it until my stone guys installed it and remarked at its unusual size. I went Over to the sink area, mind you now the sink is installed and the stone is cut, too late for any regrets, but while the sink is nice and extra wide at 34", it is NARROW! it's about 2-3" more narrow than a standard sink. I searched for literally hours for a range hood that had a CFM higher than 800, was 36" but didn't have the touch screen controls. I finally came across this range hood option since it was very decently priced. Overall, we are very happy with it especially considering what it costs. Range hoods can get quite speedy. My favorite thing about it is the real buttons! They are placed in a great spot and are super easy to turn off and on. The lights also work wonderfully. It works good getting the smells out. I would say the only con is it is a bit loud, even on the lowest fan but even with that, I would still really recommend this hood. Many viewers complained about the grates coming in a white color and not stainless steel as advertised - please note, they aren't white. We really wanted to like the PRO 500. We ordered it because its overhang over the stove was the largest out of all the models we saw, and we wanted maximum smoke protection. But we installed it and decided after seeing it in person that it felt too bulky for our kitchen. The sides were also too flexible and left a gap between the cabinet and the hood. I was genuinely impressed with the quality and appearance of the Proline 36" range hood. The stainless steel finish is beautiful, it feels very well built, and it gives the kitchen a high-end, professional look. The craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, I had to return it because of my home's ventilation limitations—not because of the hood itself. This hood really performs best with an **8- to 10-inch duct**, whereas my kitchen only has a **6-inch duct** and significant space constraints that made modifying the ductwork impractical. If you have the proper duct size and adequate installation space, I would absolutely recommend this hood. It's an excellent product.
