Great pendants! The bulb is completely hidden by the frosted glass. I have mine with LED bulbs and theyre on a dimmer. Theyre also on my sloped ceiling, so theyre pretty much compatible with everything. As the other reviews have said, it can be tricky to change the bulbs after its assembled. I didnt have an issue with it because I have small handsarms and they fit pretty easily in the frosted glass canister (which is approx 3.25 in diameter). Overall, people love them, and I do too! When I first installed the bathroom lighting (5-light vanity fixture), I used regular (standard bulb-shaped) bulbs. Looked attractive, but thought it would give off more brilliance. I just changed the bulbs to the T10 LED variety, and WOW ... WHAT BRILLIANCE!! So, it isn't always the design of the fixture, but rather the bulb application that can make a world of difference.
