Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. Which you can operate by either touch, remote or by waving your head across the front of the unit. I do recommend having two people to lift and install it. It comes already set up for a round duct through the top. But they give you plates to change it over to 4" X 10" like I had to do. Very simple process. It comes with a plug attached if you already have an out in the cabinet over it. Or you can hard wire it . Which is what I chose to do. Overall it's a very nice unit and I am happy with it.
