An adjustable stop screw limits the maximum hot water temperature. The Temptrol features a one-piece cast brass body that is designed to accommodate back-to-back and thin-wall installations. Each valve is shipped with ½-inch NPT threaded and direct sweat connection inlets/outlets for easy installation and factory-installed options are available for CPVC, PEX, and ProPress® connections. Not only is the Temptrol valve easy to install, but it is also simple to maintain and adjust when needed. A quick turn of the EasyService™ Stops isolates the valve completely, without the hassle of shutting down the entire water supply to your house or building.
