Ordered 2 of these so our could dog to run and play down a long hallway we have downstairs. One was 20' long and the other was 18' long. The rubber backing works great in keeps them from sliding on the laminate floor. I did have an issue with the 18' one having a bad curve to it, as you can see in the photo. The length on one side was almost 2" longer than the other. I contacted Wayfair and sent them a picture and they immediately replaced. The new one is fine, only a very minor curve. This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner.
