3rd times a charm! Finally made the right choice buying Panasonic after 2 other fans being installed. This fan does exactly what it’s expected to do. Only negative in my opinion is there is a delay in the fan working when it’s turned on. Not a big deal but I’d like it to turn on when I flick the switch.. Lisa. Valley Stream, NY. Tue Jun 02 2020

It holds humidity levels to our desired humidity range of below 50 without issue. The blower is powerful and helps to move air around the space it is in. The gravity drain is easy to connect the provided hose and clamp to as well. There is also a washable and reusable air filter on the intake side. This humidity sensing exhaust bath fan, energy star offers easy, room-side installation, with “No Attic Access Required”. Ceiling mounted ventilation fan features foldable mounting ears and EZ Duct connector for easy installation. New duct damper technology provides a tighter seal, resulting in reduced warm and cold air backdrafts. The humidity sensing feature will automatically turn the fan on when a preset level has been reached, thus allowing for proper ventilation throughout the room.

This is a nice fan!!! The description is not accurate, it has no light. It was not a surprise for me because I got a description from the Broan site using the fan's code AE50110DCS. I had AE50110DC and wanted to replace it with an automatic fan that turns on automatically when humidity is high and works for a specific period of time (it has a timer, a duration is up to 60 min). The fan allows the user to select a speed 50, 80 or 110 CFM. My previous fan (AE50110DC) had a permanent speed of 110. AE50110DCS at 110 makes the same level of noise as AE50110DC at 110. AE50110DCS at 80 is a little bit quieter, just a little bit. Therefore, I selected the speed 50 CFM which is really quiet for me. I set a humidity selector at 70% and a timer at 60 min. I know that for a 4PC bathroom the speed of 50 CFM is not enough but I keep a door to the bathroom open all the time and the fan will run for 60 minutes, then check humidity again and start a new 60-min cycle if humidity is above 70%. I guess it should be enough, time will show. I had a choice to buy a bigger Panasonic fan which is as quiet at 110 CFM as this fan at 50 CFM, but decided to use a fan with the same dimensions as my old one. In spite of the fact that this fan turns on automatically you may turn it on manually if necessary - turn a switch on, then off and on again.. Alexander. Kitchener, ON. Mon Nov 06 2023

The system is beautiful. Very stylish and sleek. Somehow I missed when ordering that it's a push-button system, which is really cool! Super easy to turn on and off and switch between the three different functions. It is called out, but just to confirm: you can use multiple features of the system at the same time. Some systems only allow 1 at a time. This one allows you to choose any 2 or 3 at once. The one thing I'm noticing after a month of use is that a couple of the parts seem to be losing their finish. A bit of a watchout there.. Trevor. Toronto, ON. Thu Jan 22 2026
