This is a very nice matte black tile. It appears to be high quality and is great for stairs etc since the color is throughout the tile. Bought sight unseen, just via computer image and crossed fingers. These are gorgeous in person. I didnt want a white floor (the dirt!) or a dark floor (the dirt!). The pattern here will go with any color grout (I suggest darker than the tiles though!) and the overall effect will, hopefully, be like...sand, the beach, the coast.
