The bed came with a cutter for the plastic that was pretty cool. It expanded fairly quickly but it takes at least 48 hours before you can use it. As shown this was after 72 hours and it expanded very nicely except for one corner as you can see it did not fill its almost as if there is no fabric behind that area. This bed is great! It arrived quickly and in good condition. It arrives is a small box and it is vacuum sealed. It was easy to unroll and it expands immediately. Once inflated it’s heavy enough that it’s nice and sturdy but not too heavy to be able to move around. It’s a lot more comfortable than I expected and it’s very thick. I am happy with it.. Kristen. This mattress is awesome, not only is it so comfortable but has a cooling Hybrid gel topper part that supports your shoulders and helps with back pain. My doctor told me to get rid of my too soft mattress and to get a good support one and this is perfect. Mine is a full size and the mattress is 12” deep. When you open the mattress it slowly starts to hiss as it starts to unfold and when it is fully unwrapped it pops to its full size. It suggest to wait a full 72 hours to sleep on it for it to be at it’s best fullness and I did that. I’ve only had this mattress for about three days, but so far I’m really impressed. It’s very comfortable and supportive, and I’ve already noticed a difference in how well I’m sleeping. It feels well made and not too firm or too soft—just a good balance. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars for now is because I haven’t had it long enough to speak on the long-term comfort and durability.
