This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The grates feel substantial without being overly tall, and the continuous stainless‑steel surface makes cleaning incredibly easy since the burners are fully enclosed. In terms of performance, I tend to rely on the higher‑BTU burners. They heat quickly and work well for most of my cooking. The lower‑BTU burners, however, take noticeably longer, so I don’t find myself using them often. One small inconvenience is that I have to push down the knobs twice to ignite the flame, which isn’t a deal‑breaker but is worth noting. Still need to get a cabinet made but this little fridge is awesome! Looks great - the french doors are nice, hardware all functions smoothly and feels heavy and of quality. Dual zone temp control is awesome. While not silent, it's pretty dang quiet. Came extremely well packaged with heavy Styrofoam protecting it - though there was a small dent to a back corner. Not a huge deal since a cabinet will hide it and it doesn't impact functionality. Setup is super easy - just attach the door handles. The only minor criticism I have is the blue interior lighting is ONLY at the top. So it only illuminates the top row of whatever you have in it. Not really all that useful in dark settings given that - other than it gives off a cool blue glow. Should have carried the LEDs all along the sides so it fully illuminates contents. This was delivered super fast. It was packaged well. It was what we were looking for, and now that I’ve got it installed and used it a few times, I can say it works so well, and I love it. I knocked a star off because there are some frustrating (welding) stains on the stainless steel, and I got cut on a piece of sharp metal that was sticking out of it. Other than that, it’s a dream, and for the price, I don’t think we could have gotten even close with another option.
