I decided to keep the lamps because I love everything else about them. I did read where some ppl felt the gold on the base looked cheap but I didn’t think so, just the finials…but you really can’t tell once the finials are in place. The lamps are a classy timeless look! Looks really nice and sturdy. The stone base is heavy so it has a good foundation. I would recommend using 2700k for the bulb since the head is exposed if you want it to be more subtle.. Bianca. Sun Apr 19 2026
