This has worked out great we had a electrician install this. I enjoy the three-speed fan for low medium and high it appropriately pulls up the steam and smells of cooking. I really enjoy the feature that you can pull the grates down to be able to clean all of the grease off. The only tricky part is getting in between the slats as there's no way to completely disassemble those that I've been able to figure out at least so you do need to soak them for a while and use a sponge in between each slat so it is a little time-consuming but typically have only done it like four times a year. The metal can be quite sure if I did cut myself so be cautious. The lights that are built into this I don't think would be bright enough to illuminate an area we had additional lights put in to our nook. The fan itself is not terribly loud you can definitely hear it but it's more quiet than our last one and I don't think it's reasonable to think a fan is going to make no noise. Hood fan review Installation was easy but you need small hands to screw in the hood around the fan. The noise of the fan is not as quiet as I thought it was going to be but it will be fine. This insert range hood can be remote controlled, with the remote control infrared transmitting up to about 9.84 feet away. We also control the built-in range hood by gesture sensing and touching the digital panel. It has 4-fan speeds, whether remote control, gesture control, or touch control to adjust the speed of the fan. The power cord is 53 in. long and is connected to the power supply through a 110-120V 3-prong plug.

I’m very impressed with this range hood, especially for the price. The 900 CFM motor provides strong ventilation and does a great job removing cooking odors, smoke, and heat. Very impressive range hood for our mini kitchen remodel. We just had this installed by an electrician friend - took him about 2 hours, but that’s because our old one was not a plug in and he had to drill a couple holes in our cabinet. The fan works great and the lights are nice and bright. The fan is a tad loud but I don’t mind because it works so much better than our old one.
