The knurled textures improve grip in slippery situations, and our premium finishes coordinate with the rest of our bath hardware collections. This hardware measures 54 inches in length and features a bar diameter of 1-1/2 inches. The knurled grab bar offers a wall clearance of 1-1/2 inches and features a total projection 3 inches from the wall. The round bases measure 3-1/16 inches in diameter and project 7/16 inches from the wall. Six #10 x 2-inch screws are included, which are concealed after installation. This knurled grab bar has been tested to withstand 500 pounds of pull when properly installed and is made of durable 18-gauge, grade 304 stainless steel.

Just had the hood installed last Tuesday, but the grill is not hoojed up yet so really havent used hood to see how it works. It is sleek looking and doesnt dominate our small outdoor kitchen area, which is what we we wanted. The fan does seem quite loud though even on a '1' setting so a little disappointed about that. We had looked at another hood with style design and they touted a very quiet fan, but they were out of stock so we'll never know.
