A professional built ours in about 45 minutes, which saved a lot of time and frustration. The wood quality feels a bit cheap for the price and looks somewhat flimsy when first taken out of the box. This electric fireplace is a stunning piece of furniture. It is massive and once entirely put together, very heavy. It gives off ample, comfortable heat with an excellent illusion of fire. It easily holds a 65” flat screen with plenty of storage space in the two built in cabinets. The veneer is well applied and pleasing. I really like this TV stand. It looks great in my living room and the fireplace gives off a really cozy feel. Assembly was pretty straightforward and it feels sturdy. I do have an 85” TV, which is bigger than the recommended size, so I added a wood top for extra support and to extend the surface. It worked perfectly and actually made it look even better.
