We did a total remodel of our shower, and I wanted a door with a clean and modern look. This one is WONDERFUL. Since installation was beyond our capability, I did have a contractor install it. He said that it was easy to install but advised 2 people to complete the task. The door arrived in 4 packages, and all the parts were present. We have hard water, so I especially love that the glass has a special coating to minimize spoting. I like that the door has the ability to be installed to swing inward or outward. This double sliding door is one giant heavy beast, probably because of the 14” thick 2 glass door panels and the heavy duty hardware. It’s a beautiful unit but I really didn’t think it through. My shower is a fiberglass shell and because my house is over 100 years old, we don’t know yet if there are intact studs behind the shell.
