To say I am pleasantly surprised with this mattress doesn’t describe how surprised I am with the quality of this mattress. I have spent so much money at the traditional mattress stores for mattresses that I haven't even liked. With this one, I had been skeptical about buying a mattress that came rolled up and had read so many mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. The mattress is a hybrid and medium, so not very plush, I personally would prefer a softer mattress, but I believe that with a box spring it would feel a bit softer, I am using a foundation now. I also bought a think mattress cover to give it a little more plush. The mattress did not have any bad smells which was something I read in many reviews. It also recovered its shape fairly quickly, I would say in about one day. It was interesting that it also comes with a cutter to open the plastic bag, I can now use the tool as a letter opener. It is comfortable for sleeping, but again, I like softer mattresses. I slept mostly on one side and can tell it is caving in a little, but that would happen to any mattress, I need to flip it over every so often. Im genuinely impressed with this mattress. The medium-soft feel (3.57 on the firmness scale) is just right - supportive enough for back sleeping but with enough give for side sleeping too. The ice-silk cover really does feel noticeably cool when you first lie down, which is a big plus if you tend to sleep warm. No more flipping to the cold side of the bed. The 200-night trial gave me confidence to try it, and honestly I dont see myself returning it. For the price point, the CertiPUR-US and OEKO-TEX certifications are a nice bonus — good to know there are no harmful chemicals.
