I ordered this for the wall behind our stove at our summer cabin. The wall was an ugly linoleum, which I covered with some cool peel & stick paper. I didn't want grease splattering on the paper, so I hung this backsplash. It looks nice, and I think it will do the trick. We had to hang it vertically since we have trim pieces on either side that wouldn't allow it to be horizontal. It was packaged very securely and took a while to open.
