We haven’t fully installed this range hood insert yet, but first impressions are excellent. The build quality feels solid and well-made, with a sleek, modern look that fits nicely with our kitchen design. The controls are intuitive and the lighting is a great added touch. We did a quick test run before installation, and it’s impressively quiet—much quieter than expected for the amount of airflow it produces. It seems like it will do a great job ventilating while still keeping noise to a minimum, which was a big priority for us. Overall, very happy so far and excited to get it fully installed and in use. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. They tuck under cabinet kick spaces, vanity bases, stairways, or any place where space is limited.
