I searched many sites and stores, looking for a wall candle light with a wall plate of a certain size. The previous owner of our house had taken the antique lights off the wall, leaving quite a large hole. Other metal finishes in our living room are brass and burnished or aged brass. This brass finish worked perfectly with the other finishes, by not outshining any other other object in the room. I added silk shades. Everyone in the family praised me for this find.
