This umbrella is fantastic and glides open and closed so easily. It was difficult to assemble though, and I had to hire a handyman. I’m usually pretty decent on my own, but this was cumbersome. Oh my! This umbrella is HUGE. I misread the description and thought that there would be a base with it but you have to either buy a weighted based or a mount that goes into the ground. I finally located the base that this umbrella is compatible with (you fill it with water) but I’m inclined to think it may not be enough counterbalance when the umbrella is in its full extended version.
