First opening the box, it looked to be a major undertaking. However it was a simple job. Just a few notes : some of the pieces are heavy, especially the umbrella holder and might need a second person. The raising and lowering handle was a bit tedious to line up the hole. The umbrella equipped with a solar panel will be supplemented by solar energy for about 6 hours, and you will enjoy 6-8 hours of light in the umbrella after a light turning on the switch at night. This solar panel requires no complicated installation steps, just one person without any tools to connect the wires.

This umbrella looks really nice. I did have to order the weighted bases that fit in the X brace. But the overall price was great. And five minutes after I set up the umbrella the solar charging lights were on when I hit the switch. Would recommend it. The only downside is the umbrella does not rotate. But it’s nice.. Cynthia.
