This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. Beautiful quality sick base. The cabinets just need to be adjusted and I feel the packaging could have been better to prevent things from shifting so much, there was no support other than an empty box inside both cabinets, I feel they should replace that with a solid block of styrofoam. One side came with more of a gap between the cabinets and need to be adjusted more than the other side. We got a range hood for our outside grill it took time to install because my husband built a wood box to attach it to our roof.it works great because now when we use the grill all the smoke doesn’t stay in the area and we are able to eat sitting around the grill.
