I thought I messed up after ordering to replace faucets in shower since mine isn't the same make and model/Very old, but if you're replacing the whole fixture this is perfect! That's what I did by getting this set. The only thing I recall the plumber needing was the octagon connecter things for the new fixture innards. 4 of them. I owned this same Rohl faucet for several years and when I finally had to replace it due to a plumbing problem that caused the unit to lock up, I came online to try to find the same one. This one is an updated model and it's just as beautiful as my previous model. The hand-held part os slightly less bulky than the older model. I have just one complaint. I think the new model has a water saver 'aerator' in it which makes me feel like I'm having to run water for twice as long in order to do what I'm doing. I purchased this same item 5 years ago for a rental cabin and am purchasing it again for me next one. I didn't want to pay a lot for it, but also wanted it to look good and last, so chose this due to the good reviews. When I had the first one installed the plumber said he had never heard of the brand but was surprised at how good it was. The original brushed chrome still looks beautiful.
