A nice door, but it was damaged during delivery. Big black boot marks where someone walked all over the box in spite of the fact that it said right on the box to keep it upright and handle with care. I would like to have the bent part sent to us if it possible to replace and attach it. Call me tomorrow morning by about 10:00 am EDT/ I am very pleased that Wayfair gave me a nice discount and a gift certificate for our trouble. Fortunately, we were able to repair the damage. I was a little hesitant to spend the hefty price on these shutters being that you can spend a fraction of the price for cookie cutter shutters at a big box store. However, I wanted something different than the 100's of other homes on the block. I'm happy to say, that I am very pleased with the end result. I ended up purchasing the "primed" shutters and selected my own exterior paint color to use on these. I was a bit annoyed that no mounting hardware is included, so I ended up using deck screws and cement anchors into the brick mortar. Then used 3/8" mushroom caps to plug the holes. I did not want a permanent plug because I may wat to take them down and repaint them at some point. Pros: -solid construction, not hollow like general store bought shutters. -painted well over the primer -unique design Cons -expensive -does not come with mounting hardware. Chris.
