This is such a great umbrella! It took a little while to assemble, mainly adding sand to the support bags which took 3.5 bags of playground sand. UPDATED: The manufacturer of the umbrella called me to discuss the review-which as noted was really about Wayfair and their CS-not the quality of the umbrella-which is great btw. Changing to 5 stars because the actual umbrella is fantastic and they shouldn't be penalized for Wayfair's poor customer service. It was nice to speak with them and suggest how to be clearer with their marketing so folks don't buy the wrong base. The one star is for Wayfair customer service (now changed to 5) and not the product. Please note the description (counter weight base needed) and so I bought one. Got it ready with sand and water. Went to assemble the umbrella and there are no cross braces included. Description lacking is an understatement. So now I have an umbrella with a counter weight base I can’t return and no way to use with this umbrella because this company doesn’t send standard what every other company considers standard to buyer beware only order a counter weight base you can attach the umbrella directly to because no one sells the cross bars typically used with these umbrellas. Oh my! This umbrella is HUGE. I misread the description and thought that there would be a base with it but you have to either buy a weighted based or a mount that goes into the ground. I finally located the base that this umbrella is compatible with (you fill it with water) but I’m inclined to think it may not be enough counterbalance when the umbrella is in its full extended version.
