This is the 2nd Sterns and Foster mattress that I've owned and happy with the mattress. As one of the top of the line mattresses in the industry, it is a good quality product. As with my 1st mattress always buy the top of the line mattress in the Sterns and Foster line and do like the firmness of the mattress and sleep a lot better with a newer version of practically the same mattress previously purchased. It is not 100% but in the 90% customer satisfaction range. I do recommend this mattress to my family but have been told the firmness is too much for them which is a big plus for me and my spouse. As with all mattresses, over time there is wear and dips but I know all mattresses do this over time. I will continue to purchase this brand as long as it stays within my price range.. We were looking for a firm mattress in originally purchased a Beautyrest Black. Was very disappointed with it and sent it back and replaced it with our Sterns and foster firm pillow top. The difference is that with the beauty rest it was firm, but actually quite hard. After just a couple nights of sleeping, a divot formed in the mattress, which shouldn’t happen. The Stearns and Foster is firm, but the pillow top gives it a little bit of soft comfortable feeling. While the mattress does conform a bit to your body, The, divots in the mattress aren’t quite as noticeable as with the beautyrest. Pro tip: purchase your mattresses online directly from the manufacturer site. Delivery was a breeze, and you won’t need to pay a large return fee to a furniture store.
