All I imagined and more. This umbrella delivers. I went from sadness, thinking the base wouldn’t fit under my table, to elation when I realized you could flip the attachments. They thought of everything. The lights are Solar, which attaches to the top of the umbrella. Don’t miss this, mine almost got thrown out with the trash, cause I didn’t realize the lights were Solar. Each individual light is professionally embedded, which turn on by way of a switch at the end of the umbrella, and provides just the right ambiance. Open, the umbrella covers a large rectangle table that seats 8, with room to spare around the edges. It comes with bags I filled with sand and securely holds the umbrella in place. First opening the box, it looked to be a major undertaking. However it was a simple job. Just a few notes : some of the pieces are heavy, especially the umbrella holder and might need a second person. The raising and lowering handle was a bit tedious to line up the hole. I would recommend bolting down the legs, I ended up putting lag bolts through the deck floor joists. That thing isn't moving! Overall a very large and solid umbrella, very happy with purchase.. We love our new cantilever umbrella! It is super easy to assemble. We assembled in 10 minutes! I love that we use sand as the weights instead of water. The umbrella doesn’t move! It’s a perfect weight and sand, unlike water, can not rust! LOVE the lights underneath the umbrella! There is a solar piece that you attached to the top and there is also a button that you can turn the lights off if you don’t want them on at night or whenever.
