We did a partial remodel and the tile regrout is next. Tub reglaze was done just before thus install and a truly great idea. Unfortunately, our plumber felt land locked into using a Symmons system to match our existing Symmons valve. We could not make Delta system work without a massive tear out. Universal valve didn’t solve the fit and screws in wrong location. So this Symmons was forced as Plan B. The Delta champagne gold was our intention and had already been installed in vanity without a problem. Not loving this very polished brass color. On the BRIGHT side The shower head is huge with 7 variations for water patterns. This is a 3rd floor main bathroom and I wish it had more pressure. 1.5 gpm and we are on a well. There were no install problems encountered by plumber using our original Symmons valve. And because it is a modestly priced unit, maybe we will swap out to a detachable spray head later on. Just know on the color - this is NOT even close to the Delta champagne gold. That is softer dreamy color and all quality, not at all like Symmons brushed brass. Valley Acrylic tubs are built using a proprietary layering technology to reinforce and insulate the tubs far better than other tubs available today. The process starts with a heavy acrylic sheet with a resin and fiberglass mixture backing then a thick layer of real Canadian wood is applied to the tub which is then coated with another layer of the proprietary resin. This door is so popular at our house, it's almost a tourist attraction. We wanted a new shower door to give maximum room for getting in and out of the shower. We wanted the room to look open and light. We didn't want to see big metal frames and hinges. This amazing door does it all. The design is really clever, and construction is rugged. Hinge pins, at top and bottom, enable the door to pivot on the edge of a narrow glass side panel. When closed, the hinged edge of the door rests behind the side panel. Measure the opening carefully and make sure you order your door in the correct size. Each size has a few inches of "play" so you can adjust width precisely to the opening. Before finding this Kohler door at Wayfair, I priced doors with similar qualities (maximum opening, "invisible" hardware, great appearance) at the local glass place and online.
