kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Solid and attractive shower base. Only problem with it is the product design. For some reason they offset the front bib to be about 3/8" higher than the base. This requires a massive amount of mortar to hold the base level. It also makes final leveling of the product very challenging, especially if you are retrofitting a pre-existing area like I did.. Ed. My toilet buttons had to be jiggled to stop the water running. I watched a video that said where the problem probably resides. Plumbing work is like going to the dentist - no one really wants to "kick the skunk" as one fix tends to create another repair. I set aside two hours to do this. At 1430 I shut the water off. At 1435 I pulled the errant part. At 1440 I reinstalled the new part supplied by Wayfair. At 1445 I turned the water back on. Everything worked and I'd spent 15 minutes...That makes me really happy.. I am completely satisfied and happy with this backsplash. We renovated a very challenging space (bathroom) that required unusual measurements for my replacement vanity. I got a very high quality vanity, but it did not come with its own backsplash. Due to the fact that there was an existing electrical outlet already there, the backsplash height was limited to 3 “. Most backsplashes are 4” in height, and Wayfair was the only place I could find one that was the appropriate dimensions and color. My countertop of the vanity is lightly veined and bright white quartz, and I was worried that this backsplash wouldn’t match…but it matches perfectly, as if it were made for it. It is the same thickness as the countertop, and as you can see in my pic, it looks perfect. It was delivered with care, and I was kept updated on the delivery and I got it within a week. I love it.
