Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. Great quality shower pan. I love that it has sort of channels for the water to travel to the drain. It could have more grip or traction on the other parts so it is less slippery but honestly, I think it looks better when there is less of that, and it is also easier to keep clean when the surface is more smooth..
