Always wanted a cotton voile drop length bed skirt but having such heavy mattresses to try and lift, lay down the skirt then replace the top layer only to find it bunched up. This design was such a wonderful invention, it simply goes around the mattress and elastic is then fitted to the mattress. Never really used except to put back on bed when making it up. I just washed pillow shams for the first time. OMG! What a mess. Most of the batting on the inside came out while in the washer. I had washed it with a set of king sheets. They were covered and I was covered with the batting as I took them out of the washer. I did not put them in the dryer. It took two drying cycles to get that stuff off of my sheets. I cleaned the lint filter three times! I won’t be washing the quilt. I hope to figure how I can still use the shams without the rest of the batting falling out. I am way past the 30-day return and I am not asking for anything.
