Cute end result, but prepare for a challenging assembly!This loft bed is absolutely adorable once finished, but getting there was quite a project. It took us two days to complete. During assembly, we ran into a few quality control issues: some necessary bolt holes were completely missing, and several of the pre-drilled holes were misaligned.A quick safety tip: It is a bit wobbly on its own. This is an awesome bed, however, you need patience when you’re putting it together read the instructions carefully. It took about four hours, but it was well worth it.!! I put it together for my grandson, he absolutely adores it underneath the bed. You can see a little fort he takes his truck in cars and sometimes he even naps underneath. And on the front side of the bed is a nice desk. where he does his homework.. however the lights to come with it do not circumference around the whole bottom of the bed. Poor instructions, missing pre-drilled holes, warped boards, a cracked board. Very frustrating to assemble. I’d look elsewhere. Update - after a little difficulty ordering replacement parts, they sent me the entire bed. I needed 1 board, 1 bolt, and 1 bolt receiver. Now I have 79 lbs of the rest of the bed to dispose of. My 12-year-old daughter loves the bed. I paid someone to assemble it, and it took approximately two hours. The bed is very sturdy once it’s anchored to the wall. My daughter is only 5’6”, and she bumps her head quite often underneath the bed. The ladder is also a bit uncomfortable to climb, even though it comes with padded steps. Got this loft bed for my 8 year old daughter. Its perfect for her needs. The desk is a little small (ie short) but it still works. I wanted it more as a study desk. We live in an apartment so the bed firs perfectly. Its low and doesnt take up that much space. Theres also lots of room underneath the bed to crawl around and hide.
