We are very happy with this loft bed. It looks beautiful, feels sturdy, and has really helped maximize the space in my daughter’s room. She now has plenty of room underneath for studying, doing her makeup, and storage. The only issue was the ladder. The steps are narrow and hard on bare feet, and the included pads would roll and didn’t provide enough cushioning. We solved this by adding foam padding around each rung and covering it with soft material. It made a huge difference and the ladder is now much more comfortable to use. Cute end result, but prepare for a challenging assembly!This loft bed is absolutely adorable once finished, but getting there was quite a project. It took us two days to complete. During assembly, we ran into a few quality control issues: some necessary bolt holes were completely missing, and several of the pre-drilled holes were misaligned.A quick safety tip: It is a bit wobbly on its own. This is an awesome bed, however, you need patience when you’re putting it together read the instructions carefully. It took about four hours, but it was well worth it.!! I put it together for my grandson, he absolutely adores it underneath the bed. You can see a little fort he takes his truck in cars and sometimes he even naps underneath. And on the front side of the bed is a nice desk. where he does his homework.. however the lights to come with it do not circumference around the whole bottom of the bed. Poor instructions, missing pre-drilled holes, warped boards, a cracked board. Very frustrating to assemble. I’d look elsewhere. Update - after a little difficulty ordering replacement parts, they sent me the entire bed. I needed 1 board, 1 bolt, and 1 bolt receiver. Now I have 79 lbs of the rest of the bed to dispose of. This bed turned out really nice! I love all the storage it has. It takes about 8 hours to assemble. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because the drawers don't open very far, and all the bolts used to put this together are very visible, which I thought was a little strange. See pictures. Update: This took 5 inexperienced people weeks to put together because it has so many parts. My daughter and her friend accidentally dropped the stair part over when assembling it and the screws ripped right through the top. Wayfair was kind and sent us new parts to replace them quickly. I got stickers to cover the screws because I don't like the big visible screw look. My daughter loves the ample storage and the food use of space in her room.
