Absolutely love! It add so much texture to my room, not just another plain rug. However, it has no padding to it so if you are looking for squishy under feet, buy a rug pad. Excellent rug for the price. These photos were taken about 24 hours after unrolling and laying it down. There is still a slightly noticeable place where it was folded down the middle, but I expect that to lay down over the next several days. No shedding, and the colors are as expected from the photo. I am not using a pad because my furniture keeps it in place. I may add one for comfort but its not a must have. I chose it as I wanted something lighter in color (its a north facing room) that wouldnt immediately show how much my dog sheds (shes light brown to white), and has an interesting pattern that goes with my home. It is a beautiful rug. I bought 12x15 size. Great quality and soft on foot as well as perfect weight and cushion for me although I do have a rug pad underneath. I got the charcoal/grey/beige. I was worried it would be to dark but it was not. I would say neutral and charcoal color not overwhelming. I am extremely happy with this rug and so glad I found it on Wayfair. I first ordered the 3x5 on another site, to replace an old 3x5 rug in my lounge room, however, the tassels sat directly under my futon's leg so the size looked off. The cost to return it was half the cost of the rug, and the next size up (4x6) was far too pricey, so I kept it, but when I found the 4x6 size on Wayfair, at a more than fair value, I ordered it right away! My rug was here in 2 days and wrapped expertly to protect it from the elements. I placed it upside down with heavy books along the edges for just a few hours and it was flat. The rug is absolutely stunning and as you can see in my images, the larger size makes all the difference. Not only does the larger size really tie the room together, but it offers more of the print. My kids, my cats, and myself just love how soft the rug is, and I appreciate the high quality of the braided tassels. The shag areas are more of an off white, (close to true white) and the non shag areas are a mix of charcoal and dark grey. I truly couldn't be happier with the rug and Wayfair's service.. Mandi. Excellent rug, quite soft, and very cushy. Great as a runner! The pattern is modern and muted, and not purposefully "antique" which lends to my pro tip: even if you buy cheap stuff, buy things made of natural materials, not intentionally styled as aged, and buy what you love. Your home will look effortlessly curated and classy. As for the negative reviews... the rug wasn't yellow as some other folks reported, but boy is she a shedder at first. But that's just what you should expect with a brand new wool rug. Do a few extracurricular rounds of excessive vacuuming, and you'll get drastically less daily shedding. Unfortunately the only real con I've run into is that it's taken a long time to fully smooth out, even being weighted down on raised areas. I'd definitely suggest this rug for people with cats with penchants for stretching their little greasy mitts on anything that feels remotely textured - I really wanted a wool rug but without loops, or as close to no loops as possible. Shockingly hard to find! I think the search term is "cut pile" rug, which this one gets pretty close to. Any darker portion of the pattern is looped, while all lighter parts of this pattern are cut.
