I love my new trunk aesthetically, I love the details and colors. The leather is genuine and the metal fasteners look and feel like quality. However, Functionally I’m disappointed. The trunk arrived with the lid offset- I cannot actually close the latch because of the almost 1/2 inch gap in setback on the one side. I work on craft projects in my dining room, but wanted to be able to put all of my paraphernalia away during the day. It’s got room for everything yet looks intentionally decorative ! I would also be a happier with the drawer glides being metal instead of wood for the money it cost , but I suppose they weren’t thinking of these drawers being used daily like I’m doing.
