This heated blanket works as advertised. It is a two plug in set up with two controllers, which was not advertised. So you need two outlets available to heat the blanket up adequately. Each control heats up 1 half of the blanket. I'm assuming this is great for a couple who may want different heat settings. We plan to use it up at a small camp in the fall so I am not too fond of the two controller set up. But it does heat up well and it will definitely keep you warm. A few years ago I got a heated throw blanket for the couch and this year went searching for a heated bed blanket to get through fall and winter. Both are Sherpa and flannel, while this one is softer and feels very luxurious. I’ve had it for a few cold fall nights and have slept snugly. The controller is always a little cumbersome on electric blankets, but the way this one plugs into the blanket, it doesn’t pull the blanket like many heated pads or blankets. Also has a blanket plug cover for storing or washing. Will say the controller is a little confusing in how to set it, and the instructions are printed very small and are difficult to read. I bought the Minturn Sherpa throw Size 50" L x 60" W in Olive Green, and I love it!! The color is a true olive green, very luxurious in look and feel, and very cozy! I washed it in cold water right out of the package and dried it on low for about 20 mins, the corners were still kind of damp so I draped it over the couch and let it air dry the rest of the way, and I am happy to report that I had no issues with pilling, shedding, color transfer or anything weird happening in the dryer. As I was shopping for a plush throw those are the issues that seemed to pop up in various reviews of other throws, so that is why I am mentioning I did NOT have any of these issues with this throw.
