These are great and very comfortable! If I had one criticism it would be to ignore the instructions when it says to tighten the legs to the foot rail to 100%. Definitely put all screws in (legs to seat and legs to foot rail) at 50%, then align and tighten the legs to the seat to 100% BEFORE you tighten the foot rail..otherwise you will not be able to align the chair legs in a way that minimizes the gaps between the parts, creating pinch points for fingers when scooting in your chair. I was looking for a lower profile stool that still had good back support and these were it! They are cushy and soft and supportive. They were the perfect color as well. My only wish is that they had foot rests on the sides as well, but that's because I'm used to that now. One cushion has a small gouge that would have split more as we sat on it, so I requested a replacement and Wayfiar was so quick to respond! We had a replacement within the week. This is a good choice between a backless and a tall-back bar stool. Equipped with a curved seat and metal legs, you can lean on the back of the stool, and put your legs on the footstool for a better sitting posture. The bar stools are very soft, smooth faux leather with a reinforced stitch to prevent leather from peeling. The edge of the seat doesn't cut off the circulation in your legs like a wooden stool.and the backrest provides excellent support and comfort. These counter stools have 4 adjustable knobs on the bottom to ensure they don’t wobble, kitchen chairs are fairly lightweight and don't scratch on the floor. Every screw has stayed tight and in place, and will not come to loosen with children squirming, the barstools will be safer for the younger children who like to sit at the counter bar. Ill admit, there was a point during assembly when I considered putting everything back in the box. The finished stools are really cute, but the instructions could definitely be clearer. Instead of labeling each individual piece, the parts were grouped in labeled bags. That sounds great until you realize some of the pieces look almost identical. I kept mixing up two of them because the instructions referred to the outside, but depending on which way I was holding the piece, every side felt like the outside. It took several attempts before everything finally clicked into place. Once I got past that hurdle, the rest of the assembly went much more smoothly. They also included plenty of extra hardware, which Im sure is intentional, but it always makes me wonder if I accidentally skipped a step somewhere. The stools are really cute once theyre assembled. The back is fairly low, so if youre looking for a lot of back support, keep that in mind. I actually like it because I tend to sit crisscross at the counter, and these are comfortable for that. The faux leather isnt the highest quality Ive seen, but it looks nice and fits the overall style. They feel sturdy, are a great counter height.
