this is a very sturdy and basic cat carrier. the top loading part is very helpful for my cat as he hates leaving the house and for some reason it seems easier to get him in this way. it was a little confusing to assemble and i accidentally put a screw in upside down, which is now stuck because of the way the nut threads so use caution. now i cannot disassemble it at all, but if not for that i think it would be easy to dissemble too.. I have the small one, which fits my 6.9 lb cat, but I do think she could use more room, so I lucked out and found this large one (it seems to be sold out everywhere!). She loves to use the bottom of the small one as a bed and it helped immensely when we had to take her to the vet. There’s not a huge difference between the sizes but enough to help. I docked one star because of the state of the box when it arrived. I’m surprised the product wasn’t damaged. This is my absolute favorite carrier and I hope to train my cat to be attached to the lead in the carrier with a harness so we can get her more used to being in the car, hopefully with the front panel on the carrier open.
