Looks kind of dinky in person, but my bathroom is small and it’ll serve its function nicely. The color is also very dark, almost black. It does seem well made and is a clever solution for a small bathroom. Update: i can’t recommend this item. The finish has started coming off after only a couple months. I’ve never seen that happen for no reason like this, so I’m including a picture. Maybe mine is just defective but I’d choose something else or another finish if I were to buy again.. Barbra. Preparing for a Master Bath renovation in our 1934 English Tudor. Maintaining the original cast iron tub since it’s deep (which is hard to find). While I’m still fairly young I opted to add a grab bar now since the walls of the tub/shower will be opened and additional support can be added before closing up the shower wall space with Onyx solid surface walls. Package arrived in less than 2 days. Opened and verified I received the correct color (brushed modern brass) and length. Nice bathing grab bars! These brushed gold grab bars are going to last a long time. They are sturdy, they are well made, and they are decent looking. Their finish matches up perfectly with the rest of our brushed gold bathroom fixtures. These grab bars do not have that roughened up effect to make grip less slippery.  The installation instructions are easy to follow but they need to mention doing caulking.
