Overall good deal that improves the quality of life for my disabled father in-law. It’s easy to assemble and use. I would have given it a 5 star review, but I think that the design could be improved. It would be advantageous to have a hands free breaking system. The current design requires you to manually set the brakes on all four caster wheels. As you could imagine this could be difficult when utilizing the chair in a tight space like the bathroom. The latch to secure the seat could also be improved in my opinion. It may benefit from a spring loaded latch/hook system. Spring-loaded latch hooks automatically close and secure items without requiring manual locking steps. I ordered this for my 80 year old mother who mostly walks with a cane but needs a little more support from time to time. I liked the versatility of this product, which converts from a rollator to a transport wheelchair pretty easily. It was a bit challenging to put together. The first try I ended up putting it together backwards-the QR code on the instructions took me to an instruction video for a different product (a bathtub grab bar) and the photos included in the instructions weren’t detailed enough to be helpful. But I figured it out and once it was together it was great. It’s not very heavy, has break locks to keep it steady when sitting down or getting up, the foot rests are very light and easy to add or remove and store under tor seat, and my mom loves the purple color, which is more like a lilac or deep lavender than purple. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the back rest needs to be more adjustable. My mom is a fairly small person and she has to sit all the way back in the chair to have her back against the backrest and complains that it should be a bit higher, but there is no way to make the backrest smaller or move it higher up. Just what I needed after a fall. Easy to use, and easy to put together. Now that I've had it for awhile, the part that is the back, that's supposed to lock, does0n't lock. The cup holder, which is very flimsy, fell off someplace, and we couldn't find it. I called the company and they said I would have to buy another walker in order to get another cup hook. Outrageous! Wayfair is going to try to get me another one. My new rating is three stars. Wayfair said they were going to send me a whole another unit because they couldn't get me another cup holder. It would be delivered on April 24th,& would be free of charge. It never came and I have contacted them twice on chat. Have you ever tried to talk to them on chat. Honestly it is ridiculous. Now they say they will call me. I doubt that will happen. Update: Now, they have notified me they have canceled the shipment. All I wanted was another cup holder. I even offered to pay for it. I got the smaller sized chair and it fits me so much better than the large ones do. My arms are not stretched out to the sides so much in order to reach the arm rests and they aren't so tall to make my shoulders bunch up. The adjustable headrest also is closer to my neck level rather than making my head tilt down when I extend it, It actually moves my neck forward as well as my head. It is wonderful to have storage compartments in the wasted space on the sides of the chair too. I can put the ipad/device holder inside one of them when I am not using it. It is wonderful not to have to run a cord across the room in order to charge my phone as well. I LOVE THIS CHAIR. I love La Z Boy rocker recliners and have had them for over 50 years, but this is the best one yet. The speed of the footrest lowering is the fastest yet. That home button is GREAT! This chair is perfect for me. I am very pleased with the process! Delivery was very smooth, and customer service was excellent. Previously, I ordered 2 identical chairs. My husband loves his but was too large for me. Went to local store to look at chairs. Found a Lazy boy chair I had seen on Wayfair. Price at Wayfair was less than local store with free delivery. Local store was charging $150.00 for delivery. Plus, Wayfair gave a discount to cover the cost of pickup, package and delivery for the returned chair.
