I typically don’t use metal utensils just because it’s easier to scratch/scrape coatings off, so in doing so, this kept everything in tact well. The handles kept a warm temperature and do not get too hot to handle it. Lids fit well and keep everything inside. The size of them make it easy to stack on top of the arch other which saves room. My favorite thing about them is how easy it is to clean them! With some older pans, I have to scrub and scrub to clean them but these ones I can rinse most things off quickly and then wash easily. The lids have a vent hole and are clear so you can watch your food burn! Rather light in weight but feel solid and at my age 82 the old cast iron I have had for years were getting to be just to heavy. This set of pots and pans are absolutely gorgeous!! First of all, they come needing assembled but it wasn't too difficult to put the tops of the lids on and the handles to the pots and pans. The finish is so sleek and beautiful and the wood grain handles make it look amazing! I love the versatility of the different size frying pans, with the biggest one almost like a wok.
