This is a great litter pan. It’s very sturdy and waste material scoops out very easily. My only problem is that I bought it to fit inside the Mize litter box enclosure and checked the measurements carefully. The pan would have fit perfectly; however, there is a lip around the edge that made it just a smidge too large and the litter box enclosure would not close. There are two doors, one on top and one in front. The front door works both ways, the top door opens outwards. I did have to make sure the cover was snapped together properly so the front door didn't catch. The front is hinged to lift up further if needed for cleaning. I really appreciate the slots in the front of the box to catch litter back into the pan. It works well in conjunction with the stool to help prevent litter being scattered on the floor. I also like the scent absorber in the top. The holder for it will accommodate other scent absorbers when it needs to be replaced. It also comes with a stainless steel scoop that can be conveniently hung on the side of the pan. You do have to put it together when it comes in. Instructions are included. They are easy enough to understand and assembly is pretty straightforward. The cover is two parts that snap together with plastic tabs. Then the cover goes on the stainless steel pan and snaps on with side latches. You can undo the latches to take the top off if needed. I am using this as a 'cup' to hold a large kitty litter box.
