We plan to plant cucumbers or pole beans in this rolling garden bed. Maybe tomatoes. Still dickering over what vegetables go in which of our bed. When I saw this, I thought how nice it would be -- a single planter with its own trellis/case, and it rolls, so if needed we can quickly move it in case of a bad storm, etc. It was fairly easy to put together, even with the non-textual instructions. Pictures are ok, but they don't always give the complete advice. I had trouble with the cage portion - you use the smaller rods for the horizontal pieces, and the longer ones for the vertical. In the end, we were left with a mismatched number and could not build the top layer. That's ok - I can't imagine this going higher! The trellis arrived yesterday and the box was damaged. So my husband and I opened it carefully and just the three legs ( the part that goes into the ground were bent. I have not had a chance to call Wayfair yet, or even see if it will go in the ground and stand straight. I sure hope it does, because otherwise it looks very nice and appears well made. I’ve ordered 3 of these and assembled 2 so far. The structure, design, style are top-notch. I assembled them indoors and within 5 minutes of rolling them outdoors had three neighbors complimenting me on them. The bases need weight in them, which is their intention. But without the weight they can be tippy with the wind. Unfortunately one of the two that I’ve unpackaged so far arrived with a few significant scratches. I dropped a star solely for that reason. Otherwise these are exactly what I was hoping for. When it comes to assembling, I never recommend this, but you’re probably better off skipping the instructions and just looking it over and going with logic. When I assembled the first one I puzzled over the confusing directions and ended with having to put wheels on the bottom of a giant structure. My only regret is that I only have one! Originally, I was going to set this one aside for tomato plant this summer however, it’s such a great planter I thought about perhaps some climbing flower vines like a columbine or a clematis! I mean, perhaps considering a cucumber plant, maybe small mini cucumbers because cucumbers do get heavy and when they grow on a trellis that can be problematic. But I am absolutely willing to try! This trellis did the trick. I needed something to organize these vines up, instead of going into the firepit. Easy to assemble. they are sturdy once you have the dirt in them, but seem a bit flimsy when empty. Be careful filling them, as I had my neighbor help me fill with his john deer and we had to go very slowly and level the dirt in layers so it didnt warp the shape.
