This is not a weekend project for a DIYer. 3. If you can, hire someone with experience. We did, and it was worth every penny. 4. Instructions were fairly good, but missing some crucial information that took some time to figure out. 5. Once figured out, all parts fit together well and pre-drilled holes lined up. 6. There are lots of painstaking details, like fastening thin pieces of weatherstripping around inside and outside of all plastic panels, to name but one. When I opened the box the container that the screws and other parts were in was broken so screws were scattered all over the larger box. Good thing none were missing. Several of the posts were dented and the trim pieces holding on the roof were bent. I was able to make them work. I like the size, it’s perfect for grill coverage in a narrow space.. Kim. Love the way it turned out. It’s definitely a two person job. It was fairly simple assembly until you get to the roofing part. Putting on the metal roof was a challenge, but workable with two people- one on a ladder. The holes lined up exactly with all pieces, but a few times we had to maneuver them and adjust to line things up. We did line up all of the roofing pieces on the ground before beginning as shown in the instructions. Highly suggest that. After assembly, it didn’t not feel as sturdy as we wanted, so we mounted ours to 4 x 4’s and staked those into the ground with rebar. Feels sturdy now. We are very pleased with it.. Kellye. I purchased the 60” wide sunshades in gray. I wanted them to be inset in the frame of my screened in patio, which is 60.5”. Unfortunately, they were too wide so we had to mount them on the outside of the frame. Also, just note that the fabric is about an inch short in width than the metal roller.
