Well my review is mixed. I love the look and I couldn’t find tin backsplash from anywhere else. Everything was faux tin so basically vinyl. These are not aluminum. Some sort of special galvanized so I hope they do not rust. Our problem came when we put a very mild masking tape on the tin to mark our cutting area. As you can see from the picture the paint came off! We were surprised that this would happen considering the cost. Very disappointed. Now I worry how much paint will come off when I clean it. We did a ceiling with the foam ceiling tiles but needed something to go around our stove pipe. I wouldn’t want to do a whole ceiling with these but they worked for what we needed. Planning on painting with white high heat paint so they blend with the rest. Haven’t grouted the foam ones yet so don’t judge lol! We looked everywhere for someone to put this up for us. None would tackle it. So my husband and I put it up ourselves. Took a long time as we had to level the ceiling in an old house (about 10 hours) and then trying to get all the tiles up while working over our heads. This is DEFINITELY a two person job.
