I spread paper in the tray and when the tray when the paper is dirty, I just pull it out take the paper away wipe it down or wash it and I’m done. I advise anyone that has more than one dog. I’m really happy with this dog crate! It’s sturdy, well-built, and looks much nicer than a traditional wire crate. It was easy to put together and feels very durable. One of the latches did come off during assembly, but it was an easy fix and hasn’t caused any issues since. This carrier was a life saver when I was moving with 2 very skittish cats. I had to take them on a ferry and a 6 hour car ride and this carrier was large enough to fit a small letterbox in there with them and I did not have to open the crate until we were safely in our new space.
