Out of many orders I think this is the first bad product I've received from Wayfair. The instructions are nothing but dismal pictures that are unclear leading to frustrating trial and error in the assembly. The cabinet was dented scratched or both on all corners which was not much of a surprise considering how cheap the metal is. The only way I could find to align the doors to the point I did is to bend the even lighter tin like hinges. It's very shaky when the printer works. Purchased this in black. Arrived with great packaging. No scratches or dents. Not super thick or heavy metal but will work for my home office. I was not able to add the casters as the wheels added height and it would not fit under my desk. So there is about an inch or inch and a half gap between the top of the file cabinet and my desk. The only complaint I have is the top drawer does not pull out all the way. There are several inches of space at the back of the drawer that can't been seen. Seems like wasted space. The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see.
