Contemporary Jewel Inspired 30" Table Lamp.

This would have been a beautiful lamp but there were issues which caused me to return them. First, the shade, which consists of two rings (one with the spider) and a cylindrical hardback fabric with little hooks around the top and bottom perimeter, has to be assembled. I could not assemble it because the rings kept popping out of the little hooks as I worked around the shade. Second, the harp part that holds the finial was soldered on crooked and could not be rotated level so the shade I tried from another lamp sat crooked. I would have had to purchase new harps and shades which would have substantially increased the final cost. I really like these lamps! They’re different and whimsical and add character to our living room. I like the fact that you can just turn on the base, the lightbulb under the lamp, or both. It also has an option to charge a device. The on-off switches on the base. But if you want both lights on, you have to twist near the lightbulb. The reason for four stars is, the lamps I really light and can easily be knocked over and top easily when you’re trying to turn them on and off at the base but other than that, they are a keeper.
